"Non-Fiction" by Ne-Yo

I just got Ne-Yo's new album Non-Fiction a week ago and I already love it a lot. I love the songs "Who's Taking You Home," "Make it Easy," "Run/An Island," "One More," "Congratulations." I like a lot of others too but those have been on repeat on my iPod for the last few days. This album makes me want to just get up and dance. It's a club album with a lot of great songs that have an awesome beat. I am already a Ne-Yo fan but I think this is one of his best albums. If you haven't checked it out yet, you should :)

"The Pinkprint" by Nicki Minaj

I didn't really like this album. I only really liked four or five songs on the entire CD. A lot of the songs are slow on this one. I love Nicki Minaj and her music but this album just didn't really do it for me. The song that I liked the most is called "All Things Go" because it is a pretty personal song where she talks about having an abortion, her cousin who was murdered and her family. I just really like this one because of that.

Jussie Smollett

I've been watching Empire and I love the music in that show, particularly the music of Jussie Smollett, who's the brother of Jurnee Smollett (Eve's Bayou, The Great Debaters). I love his voice and the songs that he sings resonate with me and my experiences. He's another one that's on repeat on my iPod right now.
